RAMBAN: Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan today kick-started construction work on various developmental projects in the Sub Division, Gool.

Block Development Council, Chairperson, Dharam, Javed Iqbal Manhas, AEE, Vimal Krishan Sidha, JE, Tariq Hussain, PRIs and general public were present on the occasion.

The Chairperson initiated construction work of Block Headquarter Building of BDO and BDC Office at Dharam- A near H.S Dharam under Aspirational Block Development Programme with an allotted cost of Rs. 13 lakh.

The Chairperson also started construction work of Concrete Volleyball Court at HS Dharam under Sports sector at an allotted cost of Rs. 7.3 lakh. She also inspected the Government High School, Dharam.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairperson said that with the completion of the project, a long pending demand of the area will be fulfilled which will go a long way in easing the life of locals.

She directed the Engineers of the PWD R&B to ensure quality and timely completion of construction work which will benefit thousands of souls of the area.

The Chairperson also asked the PRIs to personally monitor the execution of work to ensure quality and timely completion of developmental works and implementation of all youth and beneficiary oriented schemes in their respective areas.

The Chairperson also interacted with the people and listened to their issues of developmental needs.
