UDHAMPUR: The arrangements for the upcoming written examination for the post of Panchayat Secretary, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board on December 10, 2023, were finalized in a review meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai at the DC Office Complex Conference Hall.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Additional SP Anwar-Ul-Haq, JKSSB Member Dr Pritam Lal Thapa, and other officials, focused on ensuring a smooth conduct of the OMR-based Panchayat Secretary written exam.

A total of 9822 candidates are expected to appear at 23 designated centers across the district.

DC emphasized the need for proper arrangements, including drinking water, sanitation, lighting, and other basic amenities. Magistrates, Centre Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, Observers, and invigilators are deployed to ensure a fair and seamless examination process.

The Traffic Police Department was instructed to implement an efficient traffic management system.
