UDHAMPUR: The Department of Cooperatives Udhampur, in collaboration with Up-to-Date Academy, organized a one-day hair and makeup workshop to empower women in Block Majalta at CFC Battal in District Udhampur.

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur graced the occasion as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the workshop. During her address, the DC encouraged women to explore various self-employment opportunities offered by the Government of India, such as PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Emphasizing self-reliance and financial independence for women, she also urged the saturation of all women's voter ID cards.

Later, Deputy Commissioner visited Government High School Kakrai, interacting with staff members and students.

Encouraging students to focus on their studies and goals, she directed the school staff to give their 100% and prioritize learning outcomes.
