SAMBA: Government Degree College Ramgarh celebrated Wildlife Conservation Day today by organising a poster making competition.

The event was organized by the Department of Environment Science under the supervision and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, the principal of the college.

The organizing committee of the event included Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Brham Dutt and Prof. Sandeep Kumari.

Akanksha Kangotra, faculty EVS department gave insight on Wildlife Conservation and its importance. The goal of Wildlife Conservation is to ensure the safety and survival of Wild Species and to educate the people on living sustainably with these species.

The poster making competition was adjudged by Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Brham Dutt and Prof. Sandeep Kumari.

The first position was secured by Jagmeet Kour of Sem-III, the second position was secured by Reema Sharma of Sem-I and the third position went to Komal Devi of Sem-I.
