All round development took place in J&K during Modi rule: Ganga

SAMBA: Former Minister and senior BJP leader Chander Parkash Ganga while highlighting the policies and programmes of BJP Government at Centre led by Narendra Modi today said that all round development has taken place over last nine years in general and after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A in 2019 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a programme on the arrival of Bharat Viksit Sankalap Yatra at Bari Brahmana on Monday, he said there is a sea change in J&K especially in backward and remote areas which were neglected by the past governments.

He said Modi Government has given special attention to health, education and other emergency services for the betterment of the people. He said the areas which were hitherto ignored by previous Governments have been given priority in development by Modi Government.

He said the opposition parties are in desperations after seeing development boom in J&K with the construction of seven medical colleges and two AIIMS in UT. No one could have dreamt that Vijaypur would have prestigious AIIMS but this all was made possible by Modi Government, he added.

Ganga said Expressway Corridor from Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi, flyovers, construction of National Highways, bridges and tunnels, mega power projects, establishing of IIT, IIM, Mass Communication Institute, besides launching of many welfare schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Atal Pension Yojna, startups, Ladli Beti, Ujwala etc have shown that Modi Government is keen to make J&K a developed UT which should not lag behind any State or UT of the country.

He said the Viksit Bharat Yatra which started form Khoti in Jharkhand on November 15 this year has been taken out with the objective to take Modi Government welfare schemes to every nook and corner of the country and apprise the people of their benefits.

On this occasion, Viksit Bharat Sankalap Yatra incharge for Samba district, Jairam, chairman Municipality, Bachan Lal, Pawan Bakshi, Ram Lal Sharma and Tarseem Thappa, corporators, Mandal president BJP, Atresh Dutta and others were present.
