District Prabhari Officer reviews preparations for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Samba

SAMBA: The District Prabhari Officer Samba, Sridhar Babu Addanki, Executive Director, Tobacco Board, GOI, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Commerce today chaired a meeting here in the Conference Hall of the District Administration Complex to assess and ensure the preparedness for the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the district.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide initiative, is part of the Government of India's commitment to achieve saturation of flagship schemes. This nationwide campaign seeks to raise awareness through outreach activities covering all GPs/Intermediate panchayats/District Panchayats/ULBs.

Prabhari Officer, Sridhar Babu Addanki, along with key officers including DC Samba Abhishek Sharma, SSP Samba Benam Tosh, ADDC Rajinder Singh, and others, delved into the preparations for the Yatra. Sidharath Dhiman, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) who is the District Nodal Officer for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, presented a comprehensive overview through a Power Point Presentation (PPT), discussing the District Profile, action taken so far, formulation of committees, control room, and training on operating the portal.

During the meeting, the route plan for the Yatra, deployment of staff for capturing video testimonials, and security aspects were addressed. Prabhari Officer, Sridhar Babu Addanki expressed satisfaction with the preparations and emphasized the importance of reaching the last mile.

He directed the administration to actively inform those unaware of the schemes and encouraged the use of demonstrations to achieve saturation.

Prabhari Officer Addanki underscored the need for grassroots-level saturation, making Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra a people's program.
