SAMBA: As per the Action plan issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority for the month of November, 2023 and under the radiant guidance of Yesh Pal Kotwal, Worthy Chairman DLSA Samba (also Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Samba) District Legal Services Authority Samba organized a Special Lok Adalat for Consumer Cases in District Samba.

A Bench composed of M.S. Parihar, President District Consumer Commission Kathua (Former District & Sessions Judge) and Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary DLSA Samba was constituted to settle the cases.

A total 7 cases were taken up for amicable settlement out of which 01 case was settled and an amount of Rs. 8.95 Lakh was realized as settlement amount.
