RAMNAGAR: As part of the civic action programme, the Ramnagar police organised a cultural event and a street play on drug abuse awareness at the Ramnagar Bus Stand today.

The event was held under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr Vinod Kumar.

The event was attended by SDPO Ramnagar, Vishal Manhas; Vice President MC Ramnagar, Rajesh Kharka; SHO Ramnagar, Pushpinder Singh, police personnel, prominent citizens and a large number of locals. Des Raj and party presented a theme-based cultural programme on the occasion.

SDPO said that the Udhampur police is organising such events to educate the public about the ill effects of drugs and to ensure a better future for the younger generations. The prominent persons appreciated the police's efforts and requested more such events in the near future.
