Administrative Judge, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi visits Kupwara, reviews functioning of judiciary

KUPWARA: Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Administrative Judge for district Kupwara, today visited the frontier district to review functioning of the judiciary and assess infrastructure and administrative requirements of the courts.

During her visit, Justice Kazmi interacted with judicial officers, members of the Bar Association Kupwara, and administrative officials. She reviewed the status of ongoing judicial proceedings, case disposal rates, and measures adopted to ensure timely justice delivery.

She also emphasized the importance of strengthening legal services and improving public access to justice, especially in remote areas.

Justice Kazmi also inspected District Court Complex Kupwara and took stock of infrastructural needs, security arrangements, and digital facilities. She directed the concerned authorities to expedite pending development works and ensure a citizen-friendly environment in court premises.

Justice appreciated the efforts of the judicial officers and staff in maintaining judicial discipline and urged continuous dedication towards upholding the rule of law.

On her arrival, Justice Kazmi was given a warm welcome with a police band.

Principal District & Sessions Judge Kupwara, Manjeet Singh Manhas; Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan; SSP Kupwara, Gulam Jeelani, besides, senior judicial officers, Bar members and officers from civil administration were present on the occasion.
