POONCH: Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik convened a meeting of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Committee today in the Conference Hall of the DC Office to review relief claims under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).

ACR, Mohd Sayeed, officers from the Revenue Department and other committee members participated in the meeting, which focused on the verification of relief cases in accordance with established SOPs.

After a thorough review of 19 relief and rehabilitation cases, recommendations were made to enhance the effectiveness of the relief process.

The ADC emphasized the critical importance of adhering to SDRF guidelines, highlighting the necessity to ensure that genuine beneficiaries receive timely support. He urged for a collaborative approach among all stakeholders to facilitate smoother operations and expedite assistance to those in need.
