Poshan Pakhwada-2025 awareness event held at Gandhinagar

JAMMU: Child Development Project Officer, Poshan Project Gandhi Nagar organised a Poshan Pakhwada 2025 Awareness program.

Joint Director Poshan J&K Vinod Behnal was the chief guest at the event, which was attended by beneficiaries of Anganwadi Centre Pregnant ladies, Nursing Mothers, Children (3-6 Years) along with Sanginis, Sahayikas and Supervisors of poshan project Gandhi Nagar.

Awareness was generated through the medium of cultural programmes based on four themes of Poshan Pakhwada 2025 which are the first 1000 days of child, popularisation of the Beneficiaries module of Poshan Tracker, Community sensitisation of Malnutrition Protocol and Addressing Childhood obesity.

Joint Director addressed beneficiaries and field functionaries on successful implementation of goals of poshan Abhiyaan Jan Andolan. CDPO Gandhi Nagar sensitized the participants about the role of Community mobilization as well as community participation for successful achievements of goals of Poshan Abhiyaan.

State Coordinator Poshan Tracker J&K, Ankush Sharma also graced the occasion. He sensitized Anganwadi workers on the theme of popularization of the Beneficiaries module of poshan tracker. Event marked enthusiastic participation by beneficiaries of Mission Poshan as well as field functionaries.

Event concluded with distribution of Poshan Kits to beneficiaries and presenting Certificates of appreciation to Sanginis by the Joint Director Poshan J&K.
