GCOE hosts Inter-college Symposium Competition

JAMMU: Government College of Education (GCOE), in collaboration with Live for Others and Talla Jewellers on Monday organized an Inter-college Symposium Competition on the topic" Unleashing potential: women's leadership & participation in decision-making".

The event aimed to provide students a platform to express their views on the subject and enhance their public speaking skills.

Among the outstanding participants, Taranpreet Kour from SPMR College secured the first position and Aseesabjot Kour from Government College for Women Parade clinched the second position, while Ayushivi Sharma from host college secured the third position with her commendable presentation.

The event was held under the patronage of the College Principal Prof. Jyoti Parihar, who served as the Chief Patron.

NSS Coordinator of the University of Jammu Hema Gandotra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with NSS Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu Prof. Amitpal.

The competition was meticulously judged by esteemed panelists, Anuradha Kalsi, Dr. Shubhra Jamwal, and Atiya Syed, who brought their expertise to evaluate the participants fairly.

The entire programme was coordinated by Vivek Parihar (Director, Live for Other Foundation), Rithik Majotra, Sarita Dogra (NSS PO), Dr. Davinder Kour (Convener Sparsh Committee).

The symposium witnessed active participation, engaging discussions, and insightful presentations, making it a remarkable intellectual event.

The organizers extended their heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and collaborators for their valuable contributions in making the event a grand success.
