DC Anantnag launches Udhyam Jagriti Baseline Survey Phase 2.0 at Sheikhgund, Shangus

ANANTNAG: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr. Syed Fakhruddin Hamid Tuesday launched the Udhyam Jagriti Baseline Survey Phase 2.0 at Panchayat Sheikhgund, Shangus Block of Anantnag District.

The Udhyam Jagriti Baseline Survey Phase 2.0 is a comprehensive initiative designed to collect and analyze detailed information about the area. The primary objective is to utilize these insights to formulate a development program tailored to the unique requirements of the region, ensuring equitable and sustainable growth.

DC while addressing the gathering emphasized the importance of the baseline survey as a tool for holistic development. He highlighted its potential to provide targeted interventions for enhancing the quality of life in the region.

He also commended the villagers of Sheikhgund for their remarkable achievement in declaring their village smoking-free, a milestone that reflects their dedication to community well-being. Recognizing their efforts, he announced that the villagers of Sheikhgund would be special invitees for Republic Day 2025 celebrations, as a tribute to their progressive mindset and exemplary initiatives.

The Udhyam Jagriti Baseline Survey Phase 2.0 is expected to pave the way for evidence-based planning and targeted interventions. This initiative aims to empower Sheikhgund besides other villages in the district, creating a roadmap for comprehensive and inclusive development.
