BJP insulted J&K people by downgrading state: Bhalla

REASI: Congress candidate for Jammu Lok Sabha seat and JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla has said that BJP Government insulted J&K people by downgrading historical Dogra State and asserted that statehood is our right and we shall get it back.

Addressing largely attended rallies at Letar, Pouni in Reasi, Treyath and Marchola in Kalakote- Sunderbani, today, Raman Bhalla lashed out at Modi Government for snatching the rights of people and identity of Dogras by downgrading historical Dogra state and depriving people of Assembly elections for more than five years to run the bureaucrats Government by remote control.

Government should have restored the Statehood immediately, as per Supreme Court directions but it is being delayed without any justifications as well as delay in holding Assembly elections for fear of loosing elections. He said that BJP deprived people of the livelihood, snatching the lands of farmers, taking away rights of land jobs of youth and trade of locals. Price rise is at peak and unemployment has crossed all records of 45 years.

Bhalla said that Modi Government has destroyed the future of youth by introducing Agniveer Scheme and Congress has promised to revoke it and hold regular recruitments besides giving one lakh to educated youth, one lakh to poor woman and doubling wages of Anganwadi, Asha, Mid day meal workers.

JKPCC senior vice president Ravinder Sharma, former NSUI president Neeraj Kundan, Shabir Khan, Sain Abdul Rashid, Yashvardan Singh, Rameshwar Singh (NC), Bhupinder Singh, Rakesh Wazir, Rajesh Sadotra, Tariq Bhat NC, Abid Aiyaz, Om Parkash, Shakeel Mir, Yog Raj, Sajad Tariq and several other prominent leaders of Congress, NC also spoke about the misdeeds and failures of BJP.

Ravinder Sharma lashed out at BJP for biggest loot through electoral bond scheme and said that Supreme Court should probe into biggest scandal of the world and punish the guilty. He said BJP has betrayed people by snatching their rights & Statehood and said that Congress and INDIA bloc will restore their rights to land and jobs and natural resources to locals.

Several prominent workers from BJP and other parties joined INDIA bloc and extended full support.
