JAMMU: Heritage School students from classes 11 and 12, alongside their esteemed teachers, had the privilege of attending the Sri Aurobindo International Youth Conference on Sunday, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Aurobindo Ghosh.

Notably, Heritage School was the sole school in the U.T. of Jammu & Kashmir to receive the honor of attending this transformative workshop.

The event, organized by the Auroville Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, IIT Jammu, and Rishihood University, Sonipat, aimed at fostering spiritual growth and self-awareness among the youth.

The conference provided an enriching platform for students to participate in various activities and discussions geared towards enhancing mindfulness, promoting balance, and nurturing personal development. Guided meditation sessions, insightful discussions on spiritual growth, and practical techniques for cultivating mindfulness were among the many engaging activities offered.

A significant highlight of the event was the interactive sessions, where students had the opportunity to share their experiences and insights, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among attendees. As a token of completion and blessings, each participant received a certificate and a Prasadam bag.

Events such as the Sri Aurobindo Youth Conference perfectly align with Heritage School's dedication to provide holistic education. The school firmly believes in nurturing well-rounded individuals, and opportunities like this conference contribute significantly to that vision.
