Arrangements for JKSSB exam reviewed in Samba

SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma today evaluated the preparations for J&K Service Selection Board's ORM based Panchayat Secretary written exam here at a meeting attended by functionaries of stakeholder departments.

In attendance were SSP, Benam Tosh, ADC, Suresh Chander Sharma, PO ICDS Dr. Subash Chander, ACR Samba Dr. Kusum Chib and representatives of JKSSB.

Deliberations focused on strategic deployment plans for Magistrates, supervisory staff, examination observers, and meticulous arrangements for exam videography.

DC Sharma underscored the paramount importance of staff training and the meticulous provision of necessary facilities to ensure a seamlessly conducted examination. Commencing tomorrow, JKSSB teams are set to initiate comprehensive training programs. Officers received explicit directives to ensure adequate staffing at examination centers, complete with contingency plans for any unforeseen circumstances.

The meeting delved into comprehensive discussions concerning transportation logistics for examination materials, efficient traffic management, provision of ample parking facilities, and meticulous attention to sanitation measures at the examination centers.

As the district gears up for this momentous event, the Panchayat Secretary exam is scheduled for 10-December-2023, spanning 21 centers and anticipating the participation of more than 6000 students.
