Fire & Emergency Services launches Swachhata across its Stations & offices in J&K

SRINAGAR: In order to carry forward the mission of improving overall cleanliness of offices with special focus on space management, the department of Fire & Emergency Services, has started the special campaign at a large scale in all Fire & Emergency Stations and offices across the UT of J&K.

During the cleanliness programme, a mega drive has been launched for cleanliness, space management and beautification of all Fire & Emergency Stations and Offices under the theme ‘Clean India, Healthy India'.

Besides, in order to expand the cleanliness drive programme to other areas, the Fire & Emergency Services in coordination with Waqf Board Srinagar conducted cleanliness drives at three historical shrines of Makhdoom Sahib, Peer Dastageer Sahib and Jenab Sahab Soura.

To make the special campaign 3.0 a success, Alok Kumar (ADGP) Director Fire & Emergency Services J&K is personally supervising and monitoring the programme.

He has issued directions to all the Command Officers and Jawans to commit themselves to cleanliness and carry out comprehensive cleanliness drives in their respective stations/ offices in order to contribute towards creating a healthy and harmonious atmosphere in their workplaces and surroundings.

Meanwhile this drive that was started from 2nd of October, shall continue up to 31 October, 2023.
