KATHUA: Career counselling session of students of Government Degree College, Kathua is organised by The Department of MBA, Kathua campus, University of Jammu in collaboration with The Business School, University of Jammu.

The first resource person, Dr. Aubid Hussain Parrey, Assistant Professor, The Business School, University of Jammu emphasised the important of business studies program in overall personality development of the students. He further talked about the importance of MBA and its growth prospects.

He also made aware the students that university of Jammu offering MBA programme at three offsite campuses and one from main campus that is The Business School. Offsite campuses include Kathua campus, Bhadrawah Campus and IMS Jammu.

He also clarifies students regarding the admission procedure of MBA programme. He concluded his talk by opening the session for questions and answers whereby students have enthusiastically participated.

The second resource person Shelleka Gupta, Assistant Professor, The Business School, University of Jammu has taken questions and answer session by interacting each students one by one.

The third resource person Dr. Zahin Ansari, In-charge Head, Department of MBA, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu presented overview of Kathua campus, programs and facilities, and students placement offered at Kathua campus.

He also expresses his gratitude towards the Rector of Kathua Campus, Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, for her vision and continuous support for increasing interaction with the civil society of Kathua District.

The welcome address was presented by the Dr. Jasvinder Singh, Head, Department of Business Administration, GDC Kathua. Prof. Seema Mir, Principle, GDC Kathua, addressed the audience and briefed about the session. Dr. Himani Arora, Head, Department of Commerce, presented the vote of thanks.

The counselling session was attended by more the 100 students along with the Ms. Avni Sharma, Gourav sharma, Kamakshi Dhir and faculty members of department of Business Administration and Commerce, GDC Kathua.
