BUDGAM: Govt. Degree College (GDC) Khansahib in collaboration with the SVEEP Nodal Officer Budgam today conducted a day long workshop for newly eligible voters at the institution.

About 100 eligible volunteers, comprising college students, were made aware about the imperatives and procedures for enrolment on the electoral rolls.

Dr. Nargis Bano, Principal of the institution, felicitated the members of Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) Budgam for collaboration on awareness regarding electoral literacy.

From ELC, Dr. Zubair Ahmad Dar, Mir Firdous, Sheikh Gowhar and Muzamil Hamid Khan deliberated on various aspects of electoral literacy. Cultural Wing Education Zone Khansahib and SSR Wing Khansahib also participated in the event.
