BUDGAM: Under Back to Village programme, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Budgam, SKUAST-Kashmir distributed seed of Field Pea (NFSM-pulses for the year 2022-23 CFLD programme) and other critical inputs to the farmers of villages Fajipora Khansahib (Cluster-1) and Hamchipora Khag (Cluster-2) on 19th and 20th October, respectively.

Sr. Scientist and Head KVK Budgam, Dr. Bilal A. Lone gave general awareness among farmers regarding scientific cultivation, package of practices and seed production techniques of Field Pea.

During the programme, Quality seed of High Yielding variety of Field Pea and Vermicompost as critical input was made available among the farmers in presence of Dr. Bhinish Shakeel (Scientist Home Science), Dr. Vaseem Yousuf (Scientist Plant Protection) Dr. Sabia Akhter (Incharge CFLD) and Dr. Shazia Ramzaan (Scientist Soil Science).

The programme was attended by more than 40 farmers.
