Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations: GDC Ramgarh organises collage making competition

SAMBA: In continuation to the series of activities being organized to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti , Government Degree College Ramgarh on Monday organised a collage making competition on the theme ‘Truth and Non-Violence'.

The competition was held under the supervision of the College Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur.

She briefed the participants regarding the values of truth and non violence and advised them to imbibe these golden principles in them. She also gave the background of Truth and Non-Violence in the freedom struggle. "We all need to adopt Truth as a means of life for a righteous end" she said.

The event was organized by Dr. Anjali Bala, Lecturer, Department of Environmental Sciences. She briefed the participants regarding the guidelines and theme of the competition.

The collages of the participants were judged by Prof. Seema Sharma, Dr. Aditi Khajuria, and Prof. Risha Kumari.

The first position was bagged by Ansh, the second position went to Amit Kumar and third position was secured by Sarbjeet Singh.

The Principal of the College congratulated the winners of the event.
