RAJOURI: To review the progress of activities being undertaken by the Rajouri Development Authority (RDA), the District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers.

During the meeting, the DDC sought a detailed report from the concerned officers about the physical and financial progress achieved under different tourism development activities being carried out in the district.

Addressing the officers in the meeting, the DDC said that Rajouri has a huge potential in the tourism sector and the need of the hour was to redouble efforts to further harness this potential to raise the socio-economic status of the district.

Emphasizing on laying special focus on completion of the projects within set timelines, the DDC passed explicit directions to concerned officers to put in place added efforts and expedite the execution process.

"It should be ensured that there are no inordinate delays in execution of projects", he added.

He also asked to maintain quality while executing work on the developmental projects and made it clear that no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
