Thousands of devotees leave for Holy place with Charri Mubarak from ancient Vasuki Nag temple Gatha

BHADERWAH: Thousands of pilgrims on Wednesday accompanied the Charri Mubarak of three day annual Holy Kailash Yatra which left for Kailash Kund from the ancient Vasuki Nag Temple, Gatha, Bhaderwah.

Amidst the chanting of devotional slogans in praise of Vasuki Nag deity, the Yatra was accorded warm send off by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhadarwah, Chaudhary Dil Mir; Assistant Superintendent of Police, Aftab Alam, SDPO, Tehsildar and SHO Bhaderwah, other tehsil officers, besides President of Sanathan Dharm Sabha and a huge number of local people.

As per the schedule, after having a night stay at Hayan (Nalthi), the Yatra will reach to the holy destination on August 25, 2022, where the devotees will take a dip in the sacred water of Kailash Dal. After performing religious rituals, the yatra will start its return journey to Bhaderwah on August 26, 2022.

The Sub-divisional administration Bhaderwah has made elaborate arrangements for safe and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage by deploying adequate number of security personnel, a Medical team with sufficient medicines and first aid,besides making provision of drinking water, provision of power through generator sets, firewood, tents for pilgrims and all other allied facilities..

Pertinent to mention here that several Charri Mubaraks are taking different routes from Kellar, Chattargala and Sevaj Dhar etc to reach Holy Kailash Kund.
