SAMBA: District Magistrate, Samba, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ordered the immediate lifting of the temporary ban on the organization and conduct of all Dangal/Kushti events in District Samba, with effect from today, the 19th day of June, 2025.

Organizers of such events are directed to ensure compliance with all applicable safety guidelines, including provisions for adequate hydration, medical facilities, and crowd management, to safeguard participants and attendees.

This order shall come into force with immediate effect and supersedes the previous order dated 13/06/2025.
