DODA: Under the theme "Reaching the Unreached," special outreach camps under the Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan were today conducted at Village Bathri in Kahara Block and Panchayat Dugli in Bhallessa Block of Doda district.
The program at Kahara Block was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Din Mohammad Affaqi and local Block Development Officer (BDO) Mool Raj, while the event at Bhallessa Block was organized under the supervision of Block Development Officer (BDO) Sunil Kumar. The officers interacted with local tribal residents, encouraging their active participation in flagship government schemes such as PMAY-G, MGNREGA, NRLM, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana and Skill Development Missions.
Multiple departments set up information and service delivery stalls to provide direct assistance to beneficiaries, ensuring on-the-spot resolution of issues and enrolment for schemes.
The community members availed medical services at free health check-up camps, issued Ayushman Bharat card. The departments also conducted enrolment drives for social welfare pensions and conducted awareness sessions on education, hygiene, nutrition and financial inclusion. The outreach also included awareness about digital banking, constitution of Self-Help Groups and support to women-led livelihood activities, especially in Bhallessa.
The initiative placed special emphasis on tribal welfare, targeting families in geographically isolated villages and ensuring doorstep delivery of services. Both camps highlighted the government's commitment to Antyodaya-reaching and uplifting the most vulnerable sections of society.
The smooth execution of these programs reflected strong inter-departmental coordination, guided leadership from BDO offices and active community participation. |
