Drawing Competition on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan held at GBHSS Ganderbal

GANDERBAL: In a continued effort to raise awareness on substance abuse and promote a drug-free society, department of Social Welfare Ganderbal, in collaboration with the district administration Ganderbal and the Education department, organized a district-level drawing competition under the banner of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.

The event, held at the auditorium of Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) Ganderbal, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of zone Ganderbal and zone Tulmulla.

Program was attended by Deputy Chief Education Officer, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, officials from the Health department, and representatives of the Social Welfare department.

Students on the occasion showcased their creativity and understanding of the ill effects of drug abuse through vibrant and thought-provoking artwork.

At the conclusion of the competition, five top positions were awarded to boys and five to girls, recognizing their artistic talent and their role in spreading the anti-drug message.

Speaking on the occasion, the DSWO and Deputy CEO highlighted the need for youth engagement in social causes and praised the students for their meaningful contributions through art.

They reiterated the commitment of the administration towards a drug-free Ganderbal and encouraged collective community efforts in curbing the menace.
