POONCH: A delegation from Village Hill Kaka, led by Abdul Aziz today met Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana at his camp office, here.
The delegation apprised the Minister about the developmental projects, especially related to road connectivity, that have been held up in their village and urged him to intervene for their early completion.
Minister Javed Ahmed Rana informed the delegation that local MLA Ch Muhammad Akram has been consistently raising the issues of Hill Kaka in the Legislative Assembly, highlighting the needs and concerns of the village.
The Minister assured that all developmental issues raised by the delegation would be taken up with the appropriate authorities/forum for early redressal.
The village of Hill Kaka, situated in the foothills of Pir Panjal Range in Surankote, holds a significant place in the history of the region.
It gained fame for Operation Sarpvinash, a joint operation conducted by local villagers and security forces that successfully flushed out hundreds of militants, making the village and surrounding areas militant-free.
The delegation expressed gratitude to Minister Rana for his understanding and support, and they look forward to seeing tangible progress in their village's development.
