GDC Ramgarh, FICCI FLO JKL ink MoU to launch Young Women Affinity Group, Digital Literacy Program

JAMMU: Government Degree College (GDC) Ramgarh today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FICCI FLO Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh Chapter to empower young women through education and skill development

The MoU was signed by the College Principal Dr. Geetanjali Andotra, and Chairperson FICCI FLO JKL Ruchika Gupta. As part of this collaboration, Young Women Affinity Group (YWAG) has been established at GDC Ramgarh, providing a dedicated platform for women students pursuing higher education. This initiative will offer students various opportunities, including participation in knowledge-building sessions, skill-enhancement workshops, industry-oriented training progra, and networking events organized by FICCI FLO JKL.

In addition, the Digital Literacy Program in Financial Awareness, launched in partnership with NIIT Foundation, was introduced during the event. Addressing the students, Ruchika Gupta emphasized the importance of financial literacy in today's digital world and how this program will empower students with essential financial management skills as they step into their professional journeys.

She highlighted the significance of the certification they will receive upon course completion and encouraged students to make the most of this learning opportunity. Gupta also extended her gratitude to Dr. Geetanjali Andotra for her unwavering support in launching this initiative.
