Heritageans dominate Roller Skating Championships: Set Sights on National glory

JAMMU: The fervor and skill of Heritage School students in Roller Skating reached new heights during the District Level and UT Roller Sports Championship held at MA Stadium and Peer Kho Stadium from 2nd to 5th November 2023 and 14th to 17th November 2023.
The exceptional performances of Heritageans have not only earned accolades but also secured prestigious spots to represent Jammu & Kashmir at the upcoming 61st National Roller Sports Championship.
District and UT Roller Sports Championship Highlights:
Yashaasvin Singh Reen of Class 1st F clinched 1 Gold in 1000m and 1 Silver in 500m during the District Championship, alongside an astounding 3 Gold Medals in 1 Lap, 500m, and 1000m at the UT Roller Sports Championship.
Adhrit Suri of Class 3rd E got One Silver in Cadit Boys Roller Hockey Event in District Championship.
Medhaansh Sharma of Class 8th D displayed sheer brilliance with 2 Golds in 500m and 1000m at the District Championship and an impressive tally of 3 Gold Medals in 1 Lap, 500m, and 1000m at the UT Roller Sports Championship.
Kumar Vanishree N Verma of Class 6th A and Navdeep Kour of Class 6th C got One Bronze in District Championship and One Bronze each in UT ROLLER SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP in Sub Junior Mix Category.
Kartik Gupta and Krishang Kohli of Class 10th F shone brightly, securing One Gold in Junior Boys Category and One Gold each in Junior Mix Category Roller Hockey Event during the UT Roller Sports Championship.
Several other students exhibited exemplary performances, showcasing their prowess and dedication to the sport:
Aujasvi Bral (Class 1st F) bagged 1 Bronze in the District Championship (1000m) and Two Silver Medals in 300m and 500m at the UT Roller Sports Championship.
Puneesh Puri (Class 7th D) demonstrated consistency with a Bronze in the District Championship and an impressive tally of One Gold, One Silver, and Two Bronze Medals in various categories at the UT Roller Sports Championship.
The following students displayed remarkable talent and determination, securing noteworthy achievements in Jonex Bearing and Loose Bearing Events:
Aadriti Sharma of Class 1st F showcased exceptional skill by clinching One Gold in the Jonex Bearing Skate Event during the District Championship.
Agastya Shivpuri of Class 2nd D and Bhumik Singh Slathia of Class 1st D secured One Gold and One Silver respectively in the Jonex Bearing Skate Event during the District Championship.
Gurvansh Singh of Class 2nd B and Neyonika Slathia of Class 3rd F exhibited commendable performances, securing Bronze and Silver respectively in the Jonex Bearing Skate Event at the District Championship. Kamakshi Mahajan of Class 3rd E got One Bronze Medal in Jonex Bearing Skate Event in District Championship.
Prashasti Sharma of Class 2nd B displayed remarkable skill, earning One Bronze in the Loose Bearing Event and One Bronze in Cadet Girls Roller Hockey Event during the District Championship.
