Mega Cleanliness drive launched in Reasi

REASI: A mega cleanliness drive was launched today by District Administration Reasi at multiple locations here under Swachhata Hi Seva- Swachh Bharat Mission.

The drive was conducted in the District Administration Complex, Bhimgarh Fort, Sula Park, Aghar Jitto, Nau Devian, Katra Town, Ransoo Town, Pouni Market and Janana Park.

Under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Babila Rakwal, the district officers and officials collected waste in the form of plastic, polythene etc and disposed of it in the proper place.

The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness and to create and contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment in and around the society.

Officials from Revenue, Education, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Social Welfare, PWD, Animal Husbandry, Urban Development, Agriculture and Health participated in the cleanliness drive along with the District heads.

Residents of nearby houses and shopkeepers were also sensitized to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at individual levels to meet the objective of Swachhata Hi Seva- Swachh Bharat Mission.

PO Poshan Reasi, CEO Reasi, Social Welfare Officer Reasi, Chief Agriculture and Horticulture Officer, District Sericulture Officer, Xen PWD, Tehsildar Pouni, BMO Pouni, BDO Pouni and other district officers participated in the cleanliness drive.
