These events formed part of a two-year nationwide celebration from July 6, 2025, to July 6, 2027, aimed at honoring Dr. Mookerjee's enduring legacy in education, constitutional development, national integration and regional progress.
The district-level initiatives, organized under the guidance of the District Administration Udhampur and the Chief Education Officer, aim to inspire pride in his ideals and connect youth to India's historical and cultural roots.
At GHS Jib, Government Higher Secondary School Sudh Mahadev and several other institutions, students, teachers and invited speakers participated with great enthusiasm. The programmes featured speeches, presentations, and discussions on Dr. Mookerjee's life, ideology and his pivotal role in shaping India's post-independence political discourse.
