41 loan cases sanctioned under Mission YUVA in Ramban

RAMBAN: In a significant step towards promoting youth-led entrepreneurship and fostering self-reliance, the District Administration Ramban, in collaboration with J&K Bank sanctioned and handed over 41 loan cases under the Mission YUVA initiative.

The sanction letters were handed over to the beneficiaries by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan at a brief ceremony. The event witnessed the presence of General Manager DIC Ravinder Anand; Cluster Head J&K Bank, Ravi Kumar; Lead Bank Manager, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Counselling Officer, Employment Department Ramban, along with other stakeholders from the Employment Department and J&K Bank.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner underscored the importance of Mission YUVA in promoting self-employment by enabling youth to engage in sustainable and gainful economic activities. He encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the financial assistance diligently and build successful entrepreneurial ventures that contribute to the district's economy.

The DC said that Mission YUVA forms part of a larger vision to empower the youth through access to finance, capacity building, and sustainable livelihood opportunities, thereby nurturing a self-reliant and progressive Ramban.

Meanwhile, Officials from J&K Bank reiterated the institution's commitment to supporting youth through smooth implementation of government-sponsored schemes. They assured continued cooperation in the timely processing and disbursement of loans while emphasizing the importance of repayment discipline to ensure the long-term success of such initiatives.
