REASI: Continuing "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan" in Reasi and in another major strike on drug peddlers District Police Reasi booked and detained one more notorious drug peddler under PITNDPS and lodged him in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.

Ravi Kumar S/O Kartar Singh R/O Village Pardhal Kotli Bajallian Kun Daroorain Tehsil Katra District Reasi involved in case FIR No. 47/2022 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act of P/S Pouni, FIR No. 234/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of P/S Katra, FIR No. 23/2025, U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of P/S Katra and DDR No.DDR No.20 dated 18/03/2025 of PP Kakryal detained by P/S katra today under PITNDPS vide Order No. 25 of 2025 dated 28-04-2025, issued by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.

Besides booking under NDPS Act , number of times he was warned to shun the path of supplying drugs to the youth of District Reasi. However, he remained on continuous mission of minting money by supplying banned drug to youth of Reasi & Katra.

In view of his continuous involvement in drug peddling and to save the youth it was necessary to book him under stringent law.

On the directions of 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘃𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵, Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi his dossiers for PITNDPS was prepared and after getting necessary detention order from 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿, 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘂, Ravi Kumar was arrested by the team of Police Station Katra led by SHO PS Katra and was lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.

𝑺𝑺𝑷 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒊 while giving tough message for drug peddlers added that there is no space for Drug Peddlers in Reasi.

Drug peddlers should shun the path of spoiling our generation and must return to mainstream otherwise they will be dealt with Iron hand.
