GANDERBAL: In a powerful expression of solidarity and condemnation, residents of Ganderbal gathered Wednesday evening for a peaceful candlelight protest against the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam.

People from various walks of life including civil society members, traders and youth came together in Sonamarg, Kangan and Clock Tower Duderhama, holding candles and placards to denounce the cowardly act of violence that claimed innocent lives and injured several others.

The protestors called for peace, unity, and strict action against those responsible for destabilizing the harmony in the valley.

They expressed grief over the loss of life and emphasized the importance of safeguarding the Valley's long-standing tradition of hospitality and brotherhood.
