KULGAM: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kulgam in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Office, Kulgam, organized an awareness programme on Legal Rights for Disabled Persons at the Mini Secretariat Kulgam, today.

The programme was attended by staff members of DLSA Kulgam, staff members of the District Social Welfare Office, LADCs, and PLVs.

Resource persons Muzaffar Ahmad (Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Kulgam), Labeeba Alamgir (Assistant LADC) and Sheikh Saqib Ansari (Assistant LADC) spoke on the topic and addressed the audience on the comprehensive rights available to persons with disabilities, fostering a better understanding and advocacy for their needs.

The engagement aimed to enhance awareness and empower stakeholders in ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities are upheld.
