GUREZ: As a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of commuters amidst inclement weather, authorities have decided to suspend movement on the Gurez-Bandipora road till further orders, Officials said.

In an official order issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gurez, it was also announced that classwork up to Class 8th in Tehsil Tulail and up to 5th Primary in Tehsil Gurez shall remain suspended today, April 19, 2025.

The measures come in response to the prevailing weather conditions which have affected normal life in the region.
