DEO Reasi reviews preparations for polling day with BLOs

REASI: District Election Officer (DEO) Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan today reviewed necessary preparations in the district for polling day during an online interaction with Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

 Reasi District, part of Jammu parliamentary Constituency is going to Polls on April, 26 . The session focused on ensuring effective coordination and addressing any concerns regarding the electoral process.

Later, the DEO convened a pivotal meeting with Xens of PMGSY, PWD, Jal Shakti and PDD to strategize and implement essential measures for effective management during elections.

The meeting aimed to streamline logistical preparations, particularly focusing on road clearance and  provision of basic facilities like water and electricity in polling stations across the district.

DEO further interacted with Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) teams to deliberate on upcoming activities. Recognizing the pivotal role of voter awareness in enhancing electoral participation, these discussions focused on devising innovative strategies to boost voter turnout in the district.

ADDC Reasi, Nodal Officers MCC, Nodal Officers Logistics, Deputy DEO, Nodal officer SVEEP  and other officers were present during the meeting.
