First times are always special. But some first times are so rare so rare that the world can't help but wonder 'how is that even possible?'
It's always a special feeling for seniors when they meet their grandchildren or great-grandchildren. But Cordelia Mae Hawkins, better known as MaeDell, is a notch above her the ordinary when it comes to knowing her grandchildren.
The 98-year-old has over 230 great-great-grandchildren. And just recently, she was pictured holding her great-great-great-grandchild for first time.
Her enormous family from Kentucky has given her more than 6000 descendants over the years. And it keeps on growing.
A new photo shared online shows MaeDell holding her great-great-great-grandchild for first time. Six generations of family members are seen in the photo.
The 98-year-old had seven-week-old Zhavia Whitaker in her arms. She is MaeDell's first biological great-great-great-granddaughter.
MaeDell and her family graced headlines earlier this week after the snapshot showing the six generations went viral on social media.
Besides Zhavia, others in the photo are MaeDell's daughter Francis, granddaughter Gracie, great-granddaughter Jacqueline and the great-great-granddaughter Jaisline.
Jaisline is Zhavia's mother.
The 98-year-old married her first husband at 16 when he was already 50-years-old. She went on to become stepmother his 10 children and had 13 children of her own.

"She had no modern conveniences, no washer dryer, no dishwasher, no running water. I mean, I can remember I was a teenager and she still didn't have running water. I know she had it hard, but she didn't complain. She just went about her day," explained Gracie.
MaeDell has outlived all her husbands as well as many of her stepchildren.
"She's had a full life. I just love her," said Gracie.
