4 Lashkar associates arrested, hideout busted in south Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Security forces destroyed a terrorist hideout and arrested four terrorists associates of Lashkar-e-Toiba in Awantipora area of South Kashmir.

A police official said that police along with 42 RR of Army and CRPF busted and destroyed a terrorist hideout in Hafoo Nageenpora forests of Awantipora.

He said that four terrorists associates of LeT were also arrested. They have been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Wani, Mohsin Ahmad Lone, Irshad Ahmad Ahanger and Abaid Ahmad Lone, all residents of Reshipora Tral.

He said that two blankets, one gas cylinder, three steel plates and some clothes were recovered from the hideout.

A case (FIR 10/23 u/S 18,19,20) has been registered in Police Station Tral in this regard.
