Painting competition on ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ held

SAMBA: MV International School organised a painting competition on the theme Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023. Students from classes 6th to 9th participated in this competition under two categories.

In category A, the theme was "Exams are like festivals- Celebrate them" in which 31 students took part from classes 6th & 7th, whereas in Category B - 39 Students participated from classes 8th & 9th on the theme "It's Your time- Make the most of it".

Ashok Kaul State General Secretary (Org) BJP-J&K, Dr. Davinder Kumar Manyal - Former Health Minister J&K and Chander Prakash Ganga, Former Minister for Commerce & Industries J&K along with sarpanches & prominent citizens of Samba were the special guests and judges of the event.

Winners of the competition were: Category A - 1st prize was clinched by Aafia Choudhary (7A), whereas 2nd and 3rd prizes were bagged by Manayta Sambyal (7A) and Preeti (7A) respectively.

In category B - 1st prize was secured by Manvi Bagul (9A), followed by Gunjan Dutta (9C) and Usha Manhas (9A) for the 2nd and 3rd positions.

Ashok Kaul addressed the gathering and said that Prime Minister of India, Narinder Modi started this unique initiative Pariksha pe Charcha to help the students and parents to reduce the examination stress and celebrate it like a festival.

Further, he shared that a book in this direction has been written by the Prime Minister - Exam Warriors, which is a stress buster and ready reckoner for students, parents and teachers.

Director of school Gourav Abrol and Principal Kundan Lal Dogra thanked the guests for sparing time to appreciate the efforts of the participants.

The guests complimented the winners and the Art Teacher Ajay Kumar for displaying an amazing work of art.
