TBS, JU organises Corporate Lecture by Dr. Rahul Mirchandani

JAMMU: A Corporate Lecture on 'Innovation, and Entrepreneurship' was organised by The Business School, University of Jammu.
Dr. Rahul Mirchandani, Chairman and Managing Director, Aries Agro Ltd. was the resource person on the occasion.

He has pioneered several unique marketing processes and brand management tactics at Aries. While interacting with the students, he talked about the relevance of innovation and creativity in the industrial sector.
He stated that innovation begins where aspirations are bigger than resources and how a blank sheet of paper inspires you to make something big out of it.
Further, he mentioned that an entrepreneur can become successful when he/she has the capacity to create pain, which is a feeling of deprivation.
He urged students to stretch themselves to be innovative. He also strongly motivated the students to become entrepreneurs' for achieving professional excellence.
The talk was followed by Q&A session. Later, Mr. Khurshid Maqbool Dar, Deputy Director, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), J&K addressed the students and highlighted that the focus of CII is mainly on entrepreneurship, bringing industries in J&K, domestic and international learning missions.
Earlier Prof. Sameer Gupta, Director, The Business School formally welcomed the guests and participants and highlighted the relevance of such sessions in the holistic development of the students.
He also urged the students of The Business School to take maximum advantage of such opportunities which emanate within as well as outside university system.
The event was coordinated by Dr Aubid Hussain Parrey, Assisstant Professor, The Business School and Dr Komal Nagar, Associate Professor, The Business School presented formal vote of thanks.
The lecture was attended by the faculty members including Prof. Vinay Chouhan, Dr.Farah Choudhary, and Dr. Shelleka Gupta.
