Poonch Police, Govt Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian organise Cyber Safety Awareness Programme

POONCH: An awareness program on Cyber Safety and Crimes was organised by Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian Poonch in collaboration with J&K Police.

Incharge Officer Police Post Sawjian, Sub inspector Kartik Raina and Sub Inspector Darminder Singh were the key speakers on the occasion.

Vice Principal Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian, Mohd Shafi Qadri presided over the programme. While addressing the students and staff , Kartik Raina said at an individual level, cyber security attacks can lead to identity theft and extortion attempts, which can do serious damage to that individual's life.

Sub Inspector Darminder Singh asked students to develop habits of Staying Cyber-Safe. He asked students to think twice before clicking on links or opening attachments, verify requests for private information and protect their passwords. Mohammad Shafi, Senior Lecturer and Mohammad Arif Malik, Lecturer also delivered speeches on the topic.

Saleem Reshi, cultural cell incharge of the school was anchor of the programme. He on behalf of the school administration thanked SSP Poonch and his entire team for organizing such an informative programme for students of Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian Poonch.
