JAMMU: Samaya has brought international range of fabrics to Jammu.
Samaya, a two decade old brand which has worked with numerous elites of the state, is synonymous to luxury. Samaya is all about making a good living experience, with a deep commitment to shaping the needs and vision of our clients artfully. We have been present in the marble market for the last four years with a wide variety of furniture, lighting and accessories to be picked on the go.
Spearheaded by Payal Saraf, a Jammuite at heart, she dreamed of giving larger than life home to people in the state. She is an interior design professional who has worked on both residential and commercial projects. With that very thought, her recent adventure has been to introduce the most premium brands of fabric available across the world to people in Jammu.
She has partnered with floor and furnishings, Nilaya by Asian Paints, Maishaa and Izel Homes to bring the best of the fabrics to the city.
Floor and furnishings founded by Subhash Khandelwal in the year 1984. It is a brand known for its velvets and textures, with color palette which is basic, warm and trendy. Their play of motifs are quite unique in character.
Asian Paints has been a pioneer in the paint segment for years and last year it tied up with Pure to enter the home furnishings segment through its brand Nilaya by Asian Paint. Since its fabric category inception, it has rocked the country with its cottons and prints specially its Sabyasachi range of fabrics. It's exceptional selection of motifs, its warm aesthetic sense and a palette which is earthy, its fabrics are a class apart.
Maishaa was established in 2007 by Arun K Garg with its focus on partnering with established international textile manufacturers to develop and produce bed, bath and home furnishings collections designed by talented designers based in India and Europe. It's a brand which promotes a concept of ‘Home' as an extension of self. Some of the finest brands being represented through Maishaa include ILIV, Nya Nordiska, Clarke and Clarke, Manuel Revert and Sketch Twenty 3.
Izel Homes is a bespoke textile design studio. Started by Kanika Gupta in 2011, their main focus is on customized window dressings. They think, process and deliver bespoke design services in textiles to offer curtains, blinds, cushions, bed linen and table linen.
