Blood Donation Camp held in CHS Katra

REASI: In continuation to the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav and Raktadaan AMRIT Mohotsav, a blood donation camp was organised at Community Health Centre Katra by Block Medical Officer and NGOs "SAHAS HI ZINDIGI" and "BEING INDIAN PATRIOTS" besides Local youth.

The camp was inaugurated by Chief Medical Officer Reasi, Dr. Ravinder Singh Manhas in the presence of Blood Medical Officer Dr. Gopal Dutt, Doctors, Paramedical Staff and prominent citizens of Katra.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Medical Officer said that it was the 4th blood donation camp organised at CHC Katra this year.

The team was arranged from district Hospital Udhampur and Blood donation VAN (BCTV) was arranged from D.H.S Jammu for the purpose.

After the donation, the blood was carried to the mother blood bank at district hospital Udhampur, where it will be used for the needy patients in emergencies.
