Medical Cum Awareness Camp on Nasha Mukht Abhiyan held at Dharmari, Reasi

REASI: As part of the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' campaign of the government, a number of awareness programmes are being organised across Reasi to make participants aware about substance abuse and the ways to get rid of this menace and its total eradication from society.

In continuation to the series an awareness-cum-Medical camp was today organised by the Motor Vehicle Department with active participation of Administration, Education, Police and Health and Medical Education departments at Dharmari.

A considerable gathering of civilians, transporters and other stakeholders underwent medical checkup and also got medicines accordingly.

On this occasion, SDM Dharmari, ARTO Reasi Rajesh Gupta highlighted the need to take effective preventive measures to eradicate the menace of drug addiction and other social evils in the district. The participants were asked to play a pro-active role in eradicating this evil from society and drug abuse in particular.

The participants pledged to make the Reasi district free from drugs with the active support of District Administration, Police and Civil society.
