Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt. PG College for Women hosts Alumni Meet

JAMMU: Padma Shri Padma Sachdev, Government PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu on Thursday organised the alumni meet here on the College Campus.

The formal address was delivered by Advocate Radha Jasrotia (President, Alumni Association), While Neetu Gupta, Additional Commissioner, Sales Tax Department was the Chief Guest and Seema Shekhar, Former Additional Advocate General was Guest of Honour.

Advocate Radha Jasrotia shared the memories of her days spent in the college.

The event began with lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana.

The alumni of the college enthralled the audience with beautiful performances.

In her address, the College Principal, Prof Minu Mahajan said that this day is very important as it provides an opportunity to the former students to meet each other.

The Alumni guests also interacted with the students, batch wise, sharing their thoughts and experiences.

They discussed their beautiful college days and vouched for holding Alumni Meet every year without fail. The event was stimulating and enjoyable and simultaneously profitable as all members shared their views, new ideas, information and insights came up. The former students expressed gratitude to their Teachers and the event was a grand success. This year's alumni association arranged the special alumni meet to inform alumni about SSR submission.

The alumni of the College were registered for the Alumni Meet, feedback forms were also collected from the proud alumni of the college.

Meanwhile, the students who participated in "Court Room Trial Activity on 7th of September 2022 and in MUN to address the issue of climate change on International Peace Day on 21st of September 2022 were also felicitated with the certificates. Certificates were given to Ishika Jandial and Arushi Atri, who won 2nd prize and consolation prize in Best Photography organized by Press Club of Jammu.
