Prof Rajni Kant appointed Dean Research Studies, JU

JAMMU: University of Jammu today appointed Dr Rajni Kant, Professor of Physics and Dean Faculty of Science at Jammu University as Dean Research Studies.

Prof Rajni Kant is going to take the charge from Prof Rajni Dhingra on 22nd August 2022 , who has completed a successful tenure of three years.

It is pertinent to mention here that Prof Rajni Kant recently was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of prestigious Chemistry (FRSC), London, UK. Professor Rajni Kant is the first person from Jammu and Kashmir to get this prestigious fellowship.

Besides having 14 independent research projects from National funding agencies he has guided over 51 M Phil, 27 Ph.D scholars in Physics and has published more than four-hundred fifty research papers in journals of national and international repute.
