There's no justification, nothing is normal: Omar Abdullah condemns killing of Kashmiri actress Amreen Bhat

SRINAGAR: Speaking about the killing of TV artist Amreen Bhat, former J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday noted that 'such incidents have become way too common in the recent past.'

"I'm not claiming normalcy. We've been saying nothing is normal. Areas in & around Srinagar used to be free of militancy. Now incidents are happening one after other," he said.

Omar Abdullah further stated that 'there's no justification for such incidents.' Notably, Kashmiri TV actress Amreen Bhat was killed by unidentified terrorists in Budgaam's Chadoora area in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. Her 10-year-old nephew was also injured in the attack.
