FoSTaC workshop under Eat Right Challenge held at Doda

DODA: Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) workshop -an initiative under Eat Right Challenge was today conducted by the Department of Food Safety -DFCO Doda here in the Town Hall.

The training workshop was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Ravi Bharti as the Chief Guest in presence of Guest of Honor President MC and the Officers from District Administration.

Business Operators of varied trades participated in the workshop. The training partners Green Consultancy Delhi led by Shantna Gupta Food Technologist & Dr.Rukhsar, Sumit project Coordinator imparted full day training to the participants through virtual mode.

During the training all the aspects about Food Safety were elaborated at length.

The ADC enlightened the participants about the real theme & purpose of the Workshop.

Earlier, Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Taraq Ahmed Butt welcomed the Guests & participants. He explored the theme ‘Eat Safe, Eat Healthy & Fortified' and threw light on the aim of FoSTaC in full detail. He appreciated the role of Food Safety Officers of the District for their dedication & working behavior.

Meanwhile, over 300 participants registered for Online Certifications.

The workshop will continue for the next two days. The Eat Right Challenge initiative regarding B1 FoSTaC will be given maximum coverage, said Assistant Commissioner Food Safety District Doda.
