Team JKCA visits Narbal Sports Stadium

SRINAGAR: Member of Sub Committee appointed by Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI ) to look after affairs of JKCA Sunil Sethi alongwith Majid Dar Incharge Cricket Kashmir visited Cricket playfield in Narbal area of District Badgam and took stock of situation there.

Team inspected the area alloted to JKCA by Govt for construction of Cricket stadium to speed up Cricketing Infrastructural developments and interacted with sportspersons and locals to understand and appreciate the needs on the spot.

Team JKCA was informed during visit that there is no proper infrastructure for Cricket etc in Narbal and yound Cricketers are finding it very difficult to play Cricket and pursue the dreams of excellence in game of Cricket as no efforts had been done in past to improve infrastructure there.

Team found some issues which are beyond scope and jurisdiction of JKCA but assured players and public that JKCA will take issues with concerned authorities to redress grievances of public.

Team JKCA also assured players that proper infrastructure will be created for Cricket in Narbal which will cater to needs of Cricket players from rural Kasmir of District Budgam and District Baramulla and in this regard whatever help and assistance is required to be provided by JKCA, will be done without delay.

Team JKCA also informed persons present that JKCA stands for improving infrastructure of Cricket in Jammu and Kashmir particularly rural areas which had not been in focus in past and it will provide honest and responsive system where merit will be only consideration for progress in cricket field by players. It welcomed suggestions from players and public both to help JKCA in its efforts to cleanse the System for welfare of game and Cricket fraternity.
